Walter Christie's ingenious "walking suspension" allows a walker to collapse onto itself and move using a separate wheeled or treaded system. This neat piece of engineering let the otherwise slow walkers keep up with the movement of more conventional armored columns. The Valkurie Ausf A shown at right is wearing the colors and markings of a unit assigned to the Afrika Korps in the North African theater.
This high-quality pewter kit includes parts for both A and B variants, along with a separate machinegun turret and optional commander figure. The kit comes in a sealed large clamshell blister with 40mm round base. 23mm tall 1/100 scale.
