Walter Christie's ingenious "walking suspension" allows a walker to collapse onto itself and move using a separate wheeled or treaded system. This neat piece of engineering let the otherwise slow walkers keep up with the movement of more conventional armored columns. The Longstreet A1 shown at right is wearing the standard olive drab color and markings of a US Army unit.

This high-quality pewter kit includes parts for both A1 and A2 variants, along with a separate machinegun, hatch and optional commander figure. The kit comes in a sealed large clamshell blister with 40mm round base. 27mm tall 1/100 scale.
