Roundhead British walker
OverView
The Roundhead Armored Walker was the British version of the Americans' General Longstreet walker combat unit. It was based on the first Longstreet prototypes and retained their riveted construction (unlike the American vehicles, which were switched to a cast armor design). The Roundhead was deployed on all fronts from North Africa to the beaches of Normandy and served in all Commonwealth armies. The Roundhead shown at right is wearing the two-tone "wave" color scheme and markings of a vehicle belonging to the 1st Division -- the famous "Rhinos."
This high-quality pewter kit includes parts for two variants along with a separate machinegun, hatch and optional commander figure. The kit comes in a sealed large clamshell blister with 40mm round base. 49mm tall 1/100 scale.
