During mid-WW2 a number of Early A1-model walkers were converted (mostly by the USMC) to serve as Command/Scout walkers with more powerful, capable radios. The walker mounted a .50cal M2HB HMB in the cupola with a side mounted .30cal MMG for additional fire support.
